MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The American Athletic Conference announced games dates for the 2024-25 Memphis men’s basketball season on Thursday. Full coverage of the Tigers resides on 92.9 FM ESPN all season long.

The schedule features six home weekend contests, including a finale date with reigning AAC regular season champion South Florida on March 7. Complete game times and television information will be announced at a later date.

Every team in The American will play 18 league games, including six of its other 12 conference opponents twice and the other six once – three at home and three on the road.

Season tickets for the 2024-25 Memphis men's basketball season are on sale now and can be purchased HERE .

Memphis starts conference action on the road for the second-straight season with a Jan. 2 date in Boca Raton against Florida Atlantic, before returning to the Bluff City.

Matchups with North Texas (Jan. 5) and East Carolina (Jan. 11) at FedExForum start a rotation that will see two games at home, followed by two on the road the rest of the season until a finale date with USF.

The Tigers are heading to Temple (Jan. 16) for a third-consecutive season before visiting Charlotte (Jan. 19) for the first time since 2005.

Memphis will play six of its next 10 matchups at home against Wichita State (Jan. 23), defending AAC tournament champion UAB (Jan. 26), Tulsa (Feb. 5), Temple (Feb. 9), Florida Atlantic (Feb. 23) and Rice (Feb. 26).

The Tigers will open the month of February with road trips to Tulane (Jan. 30) and Rice (Feb. 2), before heading to South Florida (Feb. 13) and Wichita State (Feb. 16) two weeks later.

The final roadswing of the season for Memphis will be a quick one with only one day between games. It will play at UAB on March 2 and then at UTSA on March 4.

The 2025 American Men's Basketball Championship will be held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, March 12-16.

The Tigers are gearing up for an exciting season under head coach Penny Hardaway , who enters his seventh season at the helm. Senior forward Nicholas Jourdain and senior guard Noah Stansbury are currently the only returning players from last season's squad that finished 22-10 overall and ranked as high as No. 10 in the Associated Press poll in January.

But Hardaway re-loaded once again with eight Division I transfers, including big men Moussa Cisse (Ole Miss) and Dain Dainja (Illinois), forward Tyreek Smith (SMU) and guards Tyrese Hunter (Texas), PJ Haggerty (Tulsa), Colby Rogers (Wichita State), Baraka Okojie (George Mason) and PJ Carter (UTSA).
