Braves hold Player-Only Meeting before Tuesday's rain-out

The Atlanta Braves currently hold the top Wild Card spot in the National League, but despite that this season has been far from satisfying as they trail the Phillies by 9 games. It's taken a down-turn recently so much that the team called a players-only meeting on Tuesday before a game that was eventually rained out.

"Everybody is hoping this will be repeat performance of 2022, that would be nice, turn things around, and get this club moving," says Grant McAuley. "Something's just got to change, it doesn't have to be finger-pointing, but they still have a goal and time to get things right."

In 2022 the Braves held a team meeting when they were well back of the Mets and went on to win 14-straight and erase a 10.5 game deficit with the best record in baseball post-meeting. Hopefully something similar can happen this season.
