    OL Leglue back with Steelers as team signs 7 more to practice squad

    The Steelers have seven more players to their practice squad on Friday, including a familiar name.

    Offensive lineman John Leglue and Doug Nester have been signed, along with linebackers Devin Harper and Adetokunbo Ogundeji, running back Boston Scott and wide receivers Brandon Johnson and Ben Skowronek.

    Leglue spent two years in Pittsburgh, appearing in six games in 2021. He signed with the Steelers practice squad in 2021 after signing as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos in 2019.

    Leglue signed with the Steelers practice squad in 2020.

    Harper is a former sixth-round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2022. He appeared in six games for Cincinnati last year.

    Ogundeji was taken in the fifth-round of the 2021 draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He started in 11 games his rookie year and 16 games in 2022. He missed 2023 with a foot injury.

    Johnson was signed by the Denver Broncos after the 2022 draft. He has played in 20 games since with 25 catches for 326 yards and five touchdowns.

    Nester is a rookie out of West Virginia that signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent after the draft. He started in 52 out of 57 games with the Mountaineers in college.

    Scott was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth-round of the 2018 draft. He appeared in 75 games for the Eagles between 2018-2023 with 302 carries for 1,295 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also has 71 catches for 566 yards and a TD.

    Skowronek was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the seventh round of the 2021 draft. He’s played in 45 games, starting in 12 of them with 58 catches for 575 yards.

    The Steelers signed eight players to their practice squad on Thursday.

    Defensive players: DB Anthony Averett, Zyon Gilbert, Thomas Graham Jr., DL Jacob Slade and LB Marcus Haynes

    Offensive players: JFB ack Colletto, RB Jonathan Ward and TE Rodney Williams
