The Northern Lights had returned to the Hudson Valley.</p><p>Photos were shared on Facebook timelines and Instagram stories, bursting with bright purples and pinks. There were professional shots sprinkled with gorgeous greens and blues scattering the sky.</p><p>It truly was something to see!</p><p>However, then those Northern Lights haters started chiming in with comments like "okay we get it!" or "These are worse than snow pictures" and "Northern Lights pictures have taken over 'Bread and Milk' posts."</p><p>Okay Debbie Downer, thanks for raining on our parade! The Northern Lights are way more rare than your typical run-of-the-mill Hudson Valley snowstorm. Why hate on it so much?
