Jefferson County Animal Control and Coal Creek Fire Rescue saved the large cow from knee-deep mud this week.</p><h2>Humans Rescue Cow Stuck in the Mud in Jefferson County, Colorado</h2><p>A post from the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/JeffersonCountySheriffColorado/videos/521829943920424">Jefferson County Sheriff's Office on Facebook</a> recapped the ordeal that the cow was in, saying that the rescue operation took about an hour to get the cow out of the mud. It took two trucks with winches to pull the cow to safety while the rest of the herd stood close by and watched the rescue unfold.</p><p>After the rescue of the cow, she rested for a little bit before getting up and walking away.
