This left a ton of people without affordable internet access.</p><p>Fortunately, strides are being made at the state level with programs like <a href="https://k99.com/internet-colorado/">BEAD</a>, which is supposed to give people fast internet at an affordable cost.</p><p>However, some may have experienced some outages along the Front Range recently, and the reasons why have been released.</p><h2>Recent Internet Outages in Colorado Likely Due to Vandalism</h2><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=2fIQYr_0w3FTKqV00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2fIQYr_0w3FTKqV00" width="1600" height="1067" ><figcaption>Canva</figcaption></figure><p>Many times when there’s internet outages across Colorado, it’s usually for the same couple of reasons.</p><p>For example, the biggest reason you might see wide scale outages could be due to thunderstorms. Linked to that is just overall power outages.</p><p>However, many people along the Front Range, mostly within the Denver area, lost connection for a completely different reason; vandalism.</p><p><a href="https://kdvr.com/news/local/colorado-broadband-outages-being-blamed-on-vandalism-fires/">According to FOX 31</a>, it began when Aurora Fire Rescue had to respond to a grass fire that took place early in the morning on Sunday. </p><p>As it would turn out, it came from within a communications vault.
