According to the information put out by Amarillo Student Crime Stoppers, the incident occurred on Sep. 22. Officers received a call, responded to the call, and when they arrived there was what is described as significant damage done to the fielded area, playground, and benches at the school.</p><p>No specifics are given as to what the significant damage was, but it is mentioned that the damage to the property is valued at thousands of dollars. It's senseless, and it makes you wonder who would do something like this and why.
