America is home to many cities and towns that are filled with friendly and welcoming communities, but it's especially easy to find kindness in South, which is generally known for its hospitality. However, a popular city in Colorado was recognized as one of the nicest places in the entire country.

Clever Real Estate compiled a list of "nicest" cities in the U.S., with many of the destinations in the Top 10 found around the South, seemingly solidifying the idea of "Southern hospitality" thanks to its friendly residents. A spot in Colorado also found a spot among the list, with Denver coming in at No. 10 overall in a tie with Birmingham in Alabama and Orlando in Florida, proving that you can also find a friendly face in the Centennial State.

These are the nicest cities in America, according to the report:

    1. Nashville, Tennessee
    2. Charlotte, North Carolina
    3. Virginia Beach, Virginia
    4. Atlanta, Georgia
    5. Austin, Texas
    6. Raleigh, North Carolina
    7. Tampa, Florida
    8. Boston, Massachusetts
    9. Seattle, Washington
    10. TIED: Birmingham, Alabama; Denver, Colorado; Orlando, Florida

Here are the states considered to be the nicest in the country:

    1. Hawaii
    2. Tennessee
    3. Texas
    4. South Carolina
    5. Florida
    6. California
