Yankees top Padres 4-1

The Padres' offensive woes at Petco Park continued on Saturday night, as they collected just 4 hits and scored one run on a solo home run from Fernando Tatis Jr. in the 8th inning of a 4-1 loss to the Yankees. The Padres fell behind early when Aaron Judge blasted a 2-run homer in the top of the 1st inning. The Yankees added two more runs in the 4th inning on an RBI-single from Anthony Rizzo and an RBI-sacrifice fly from Gleyber Torres. Despite allowing 4 earned runs, Dylan Cease, was able to pitch deep into the game, pitching into the 7th inning to help ease the burden on the bullpen. The Padres will try to avoid being swept on Sunday when they send Joe Musgrove to the mound.
