    Xander Schauffele won the PGA Championship by 1 stroke over Bryson DeChambeau to earn his first career major championship victory. Schauffele entered the final round tied with Collin Morikawa for the lead, and shot a 6-under to claim the victory. Schaufelle set the record for lowest 72-hole score to par and the lowest 72-hole scoring total (263) in a major championship.

    DeChambeau tied Schauffele with a birdie putt on 18, with Schauffele two holes behind. After earning a par on 17, Xander needed a birdie on 18 to avoid a playoff and win his first major.
