One <a href="https://www.iheart.com/content/2023-12-13-2-south-carolina-cities-among-the-20-best-places-to-live-by-the-beach/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> city in South Carolina </a> is among the unhappiest in the country: Columbia, which scored the worst in the Economic Stability category. This is what the site had to say: </p><blockquote>"If there's one thing for Columbia, South Carolina, to focus on, it's the economic situation of its residents. Nearly 20% of the population has income under $15,000 (compared to 12.6% nationally and 15.4% in the state of South Carolina).
