Washington is obsessed with triathlons – is it any surprise?
Sounds like an average day outdoors in Washington, right? But it's also the format of a popular endurance event: the triathlon. Triathlons are relatively new to human history - at least as a distinct sport. The first modern triathlon (with the swim/bike/run format) was held in San Diego in 1974. It wasn't until 2000 that the triathlon made its debut in the Olympic Games - which means my memory of watching the Olympic Games as a kid is a little wrong.
Stop sending checks in the mail in Washington state.
When was the last time you said, “the check is in the mail”? Honestly, when was the last time you put a check in the mail? Recent information indicates that putting a check in the mail is not necessarily the best way to get that money where it needs to go.

July 4 has long been synonymous with blockbuster cinema. And this year one of the biggest movies of the Independence Day weekend will be streaming on Max. As of this writing the film, which is a sequel to 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, is the third-biggest grosser of 2024 at the U.S. box office, behind only Inside Out 2 and Dune: Part Two.

Famous WA Attraction Named One of the Worst Tourist Traps in U.S.

Around Yakima we have several intersections with crosswalks. Those are no-brainers as, as the driver, you think if you run a red light you'd get pulled over and get a hefty fine to the tune of upwards of $250. But considering there's a crosswalk there as well where a pedestrian...

Mt. Rainier is Taller than Mt. Everest. No, Really!
At 29,029 feet, it's wildly known that Mt. Everest is has the highest altitude from sea level on planet Earth, but did you know it's not the tallest mountain?. Confusing, I know.
