I used to fish for them in downtown Flint and have caught some as long as my leg. The bad boy in the picture above was the largest ever caught during a survey on Lake St. Clair. This sturgeon was 75.2 inches and weighed 125 pounds. It's a freaking dinosaur.</p><p>To give you an idea of how much bigger lake sturgeon get in Michigan, the state record was caught on Mullett Lake in 1974 weighed 193 pounds, and was 88 inches long.
