DENVER — If you thought June felt a little warmer than normal, you were right. June 2024 finished as the second-hottest June ever recorded in Denver. The average temperature at the official weather station at Denver International Airport (DIA) was 73.8 degrees in June. That was 5.6 degrees above the month-to-date average.
Suspect in fatal shooting outside Denver shelter is identified
DENVER — At least seven people reported witnessing a fatal shooting Monday night outside a Denver Rescue Mission shelter, documents obtained by 9NEWS show. The Denver Police Department said the shooting happened around 8 p.m. outside the shelter in the area of 48th Avenue and Dahlia Street in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood.
