RV crashes into Big Thompson River
LOVELAND, Colo. — Investigators are working to determine what caused the driver of an RV to crash into the Big Thompson River west of Loveland Saturday afternoon. No one was injured in the crash, which happened around 2 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 34 in Big Thompson Canyon. The driver, who was the only person in the RV, was able to get out on his own.

Utah fire captain dies in rafting accident in Colorado
DINOSAUR, Colo — A 27-year veteran with the Salt Lake City Fire Department who responded to the 9/11 terror attacks died in a rafting accident in Colorado. The fire department identified Captain Michael Harp, 50, of Sandy, Utah as the victim who died in the accident during a private permitted trip along the Green River inside the Dinosaur National Monument.
