In a recent turn of events, an Alameda County Judge has issued an order to book former county prosecutor Amilcar "Butch" Ford on a misdemeanor charge. This decision came after District Attorney Pamela Price filed charges against him, accusing Ford of interfering with the prosecution of a former San Leandro police officer facing manslaughter charges. This blog post will delve into the circumstances leading up to the judge's order and examine the evidence and arguments presented during the court proceedings.

District Attorney Pamela Price's charges against Ford cast a shadow of doubt on his actions during the prosecution of a former San Leandro police officer involved in the tragic shooting death of Steven Taylor in 2020. The allegations against Ford suggest that he interfered with the prosecution process. This interference, if proven, raises critical questions about the integrity of the legal system and the pursuit of justice.

Before these accusations, Amilcar "Butch" Ford served as a prosecutor in the Alameda County district attorney's office. However, due to the seriousness of the allegations, Price placed him on leave in January. It is worth noting that Ford resigned from his position in May and is now employed by San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins.

The judge's decision to book Ford by a specific date highlights the seriousness of the charges against him. This move signifies a crucial step towards ensuring accountability and impartiality within the legal system. By subjecting Ford to the booking process, the court emphasizes the need for a thorough investigation into the allegations and a fair trial to determine the truth.

The judge's order suggests sufficient evidence or arguments presented during the court proceedings to warrant further scrutiny of Ford's actions. The circumstances leading up to this decision remain shrouded in controversy, with the court likely considering the gravity of the charges and the potential impact on the ongoing case against the former police officer.

As the case involving former Alameda County prosecutor Amilcar "Butch" Ford unfolds, the judge's recent order to book Ford on a misdemeanor charge raises eyebrows and invites scrutiny from the public. The allegations of interfering with the prosecution of a police officer facing manslaughter charges underscore the importance of upholding justice and impartiality in our legal system. As investigations continue and the trial progresses, it is crucial for the truth to prevail and for the public's faith in the legal system to be restored.

True..this is a personal grudge against Amilcar "Butch" Ford. She doesn't like the police, that's clear. Shame on her..

What this article is really trying to do is “show” how Pamela Price is is so righteous in her pursuit of justice for the people in Alameda County. In fact this case is ALL about her grudge against a former employee of her office and police in general. Remember, she is a convicted criminal and civil rights attorney in charge of our DA’s office, who has said her office has “no effect” on crime. She needs to go!
