    The City of Taunton has revealed that a beloved local business is reopening its doors, with a few changes! “Mark your calendars! Colonial Do-Nut Shop will re-open Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 4am!" announced the City of Taunton. The new owner Brian Levesque promises that "the same tasty donuts made by famous donut maker Bob George will hit the shelves in the early morning of August 10th."

    In addition to the reopening, there are a few exciting updates. Colonial Do-Nut will now be open 6 days a week, from 4 am to noon, and will be closed only on Mondays. Yes, they will now be open on Sundays! This means donut enthusiasts can enjoy their favorite treats even on weekends.

    According to the City of Taunton, Levesque also mentioned that Colonial Do-Nut will now accept debit and credit cards, making it more convenient for customers. With its modern updates and commitment to maintaining the cherished quality of its products, the Colonial Do-Nut Shop is poised to continue being a beloved local institution for years to come.
