DAVENPORT, Iowa – A Davenport man has been sentenced to 156 months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and cocaine base.

According to public court documents and evidence presented at the sentencing hearing, Domonique Deshawn Parrow, 38, was identified by law enforcement as a distributor of cocaine and cocaine base, which he distributed directly from his residence for at least three years. When law enforcement executed a search warrant at Parrow’s residence, they found cocaine and cocaine base packaged for resale, a firearm, and money. In total, Parrow was responsible for the distribution of at least 3.2 kilograms of cocaine during the conspiracy.

After completing his term of imprisonment, Parrow will be required to serve three years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.

United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal of the Southern District of Iowa made the announcement. This case was investigated by the Davenport Police Department.

This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program bringing together all levels of law enforcement and the communities they serve to reduce violent crime and gun violence, and to make neighborhoods safer for everyone. On May 26, 2021, the department launched a violent crime reduction strategy strengthening PSN based on these core principles: fostering trust and legitimacy in communities, supporting community-based organizations that help prevent violence from occurring in the first place, setting focused and strategic enforcement priorities, and measuring the results.
