FL Is Getting A New Publix-Anchored Shopping Center With Hair Salon, Restaurants, Apartments, & Gas

Naples residents who are fans of Publix rejoice! It's well known that Publix has been adding new locations across the Sunshine State recently - either by constructing new stores or updating old ones. And some of the new stores will have unique features like housing or public amenities. I've written about a Publix in South Florida that will have both condos and a food hall. And now a new Publix shopping center that has just broken ground in Naples will reportedly also have apartments plus different types of businesses for patron's convenience.

The Shoppes at Orange Blossom: Publix will reportedly be the anchor in the new 60,000-square-foot shopping center The Shoppes at Orange Blossom. The center is is expected to have closeby apartments, a medical center, restaurants, a Great Clips, a convenience store, and gas.

The New Publix Itself And The Opening Date: The new store will be located on the north side of Oil Well Road and an opening date of 2025 is expected as the shopping center just broke ground.

Naples already has a Publix at 1981 Tamiami Trail North. That store is highly rated, earning 4.6 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. Many people compliment its cleanliness, customer service, and selection. Some appreciate the Starbucks inside.

A reviewer named Sunny wrote, in part:

"Very clean store with a great variety of goods and the staff was really helpful. Everything is fresh and well-sorted."

A few people did complain about pricing. A reviewer named Brain wrote:

"I love Publix, but raising the prices right now is insulting! Everything from last week is now a $1.50+ more! Thanks for not caring about the locals as the rich arrive for the winter!"
