Quantico, Virginia has a population of only 553. The small town is not known for being a residential place for people to live or to go on vacation. Instead, Quantico is the home to Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCB Quantico), the only public place within a military installation in the United States. Quantico is located in Prince William, Stafford, and Fauquier counties. The town is about 35 miles southwest of Washington, DC.

    FBI Quantico

All special agents and intelligence analysts begin their careers at the FBI Quantico. They spend 20 weeks of intensive training at one of the world’s finest law enforcement facilities. Trainees live on campus and participate in various training activities and classroom studies.

Quantico is often mentioned in many law enforcement television series, even though the town is rarely seen. Fans of television shows have learned a lot about what happens at Quantico from their favorite law and order shows, cop dramas, and procedural crime dramas.

    • Law & Order
    • Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
    • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
    • NCIS
    • Castle
    • FBI
    • Blue Bloods

When characters in the above television series have a problem they can''t solve locally, they rely on Quantico for help with physical evidence, such as trace evidence, latent fingerprints, firearms, and even unlocking cell phones to get information from cell phones.
