    Tupelo Police Make Felony Shoplifting Arrest After Over $1000 in Merchandise Stolen From Walmart

    Tupelo Police made a felony shoplifting arrest according to a press release from the Tupelo Police Department.

    On July 12, 2024, the Tupelo Police Department served a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant on 31 year old Ronald G. Carmon Jr. of Walut for Felony Shoplifting.

    This warrant is in relation to a 2020 report in which a suspect shoplifted over one thousand dollars of merchandise from Wal-Mart (2270 West Main Street).

    Carmon was held on a $10,000 bond that was issued by Lee County Circuit Court at the time the capias was issued. This case is awaiting trial in Lee County Circuit Court.
