The new season for the New York Jets got off to a pretty good start last Saturday when they defeated the Washington Commanders 20-17at MetLife Stadium in Week 1 of the preseason.

While we already know that, like the first game, we won’t be seeing Aaron Rodgers at all in the second game, much to his chagrin , there is still a lot to pay attention to when the Jets line up again on Saturday. Rookie running back Braelon Allen stole the show for the Jets offense in the first half, and former UFL MVP Adrian Martinez made a case to remain on the squad in the second half.

The toughest part about the preseason, for fans, is keeping up with all the action. This especially applies to out-of-market fans. Fortunately, along with 506sports.com, there are ways to watch/stream the game and not miss a beat. The game kicks off at 7 p.m. ET and per 506sports , it will be broadcasted on the following TV channels.

In New York, it'll be Ian Eagle and Anthony Becht on the call:

    • WCBS (CBS/2 - New York)

For Panthers’ fans Anish Shroff and Steve Smith Sr. will be on the call on the following stations:

    · WJZY (FOX/46 - Charlotte)

    · WRAZ (FOX/50 - Raleigh/Durham)

    · WFMY (CBS/2 - Greensboro NC)

    · WITN (NBC/7 - Greenville NC)

    · WSFX (FOX/26 - Wilmington NC)

    · WYFF (NBC/4 - Greenville SC)

    · WFXB (FOX/43 - Myrtle Beach SC)

    · WLTX (CBS/19 - Columbia SC)

    · WCSC (CBS/5 - Charleston SC)

    · WVEC (ABC/13 - Norfolk VA)

    · WDBJ (CBS/7 - Roanoke VA)

    · WJBF (ABC/6 - Augusta GA)

    · WJCL (ABC/22 - Savannah GA)

Streaming-wise, in-market fans can catch the game on NFL+, and Paramount Plus. Out-of-market fans can also catch the game on NFL+, which has become a godsend, basically, for this time of year..

On the Carolina side, this may be a make-or-break year for Bryce Young, who the Panthers gave up a lot for to take number one overall just two years ago. The latest reports from new Panthers head coach Dave Canales are that it is possible Young doesn’t play at all in the preseason.

That won’t be the Jets only chance to square off against Young this week, though. The two squads faced off in a joint practice session on Thursday for the second time in as many seasons. After Garrett Wilson dominated the Commanders in their joint practice last week, all eyes will be on him in Carolina.

In all, it should be an exciting week that gets one step closer to real football.
