Jessica Fields, the younger sister of ex-Ohio State standout Justin Fields, is heading to Michigan to join the women's basketball team.

Standing at 6-foot-1, Jessica Fields, a forward in the class of 2025, shared her decision to commit to the Michigan Wolverines this Sunday.

Her top choices included Michigan, Georgetown, and Northwestern, with no offer reported from Ohio State.

Jessica has been on the radar of college scouts since her pre-high school days, largely because she appreciates Michigan's strong player development reputation. Players like her can officially sign with their chosen colleges during the early November signing period.

As she prepares for her final year at Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia, Jessica looks back at a stellar high school career that includes leading her team to three consecutive state titles.

Her brother, Justin Fields, made a name for himself as Ohio State’s quarterback in 2019 and 2020, clinching the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year award twice and helping the team secure Big Ten titles and spots in the College Football Playoffs both years.

Now, as he moves into his fourth NFL season, Justin Fields is vying with Russell Wilson for the top quarterback position with the Pittsburgh Steelers following his trade from the Chicago Bears.

Jessica will be the third Fields sibling to compete in collegiate athletics at a major conference school. Her other sibling, Jaiden Fields, wrapped up a notable college softball career at Georgia, achieving second-team All-SEC honors in 2023 and contributing to the Bulldogs’ advancement to the NCAA Tournament Super Regionals in three of her last four years.
