The AFC North was as competitive as ever last year with four teams that had a legit shot at reaching the postseason in the final weeks. It figures to be much of the same this year with each team having aspirations to get back to that point .

We are still weeks away from the 2024 NFL season officially beginning and preseason is in full swing. In the meantime, the Cleveland Browns’ social media team is having some fun poking at the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cincinnati revealed they would have orange pants as an alternate in 2024 and they are pretty neat overall. The bengal stripe up the side is the big difference between them and the ones that the Browns wear, as you can see below.

So, it did not take long for the Browns social team to take a shot at the Bengals in a subliminal way. They posted a picture of defensive end Myles Garrett celebrating after sacking quarterback Joe Burrow. In that game, the Browns were wearing their orange pants with their brown jerseys.

Sports teams have really become clever over the years and we see shots being taken in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and even college between team accounts. It is all fun and games at the end of the day because it does not actually mean anything. The Browns have their orange pants and the Bengals have theirs.

Cleveland will host the Bengals in Week 7 of the regular season and will travel to Cincinnati for a road game in Week 16. Both games will undoubtedly be a battle between two teams that hope to be at the top of the AFC North when all is said and done. Last season the teams split their two games with the Bengals winning the Week 18 game when Cleveland decided to rest their starters with the playoffs already locked up.
