There weren't very many rookies who had a huge impact on the Las Vegas Raiders last year. Even the ones that played -- Aidan O'Connell mainly, didn't create winning situations. The other ones definitely didn't, but it wasn't their fault, it was just because of the bad situations they were in with Josh McDaniels running things, and the offense being bad.

So, we didn't really get to see much of guys like Tre Tucker, who we know from his college tape, has a lot of speed the Raiders can use to stretch the field as a deep threat. He did, though, have two of the biggest plays for the Raiders last year, but that's really all we saw.

This offseason, we know Tucker was putting in crazy work. He and Aidan O'Connell were one of the few to stay in Las Vegas during the break and worked together relentlessly . They threw together all the time, whether it be at a local park, or anywhere they could go and just put in the work needed to make that leap.

And, Tucker did something else that may help improve his game. According to him on Tuesday, this offseason Tucker had Lasik Eye Surgery.

Now, yes, that's huge, because, was Tucker catching the ball prior to this surgery... blind? Maybe, or maybe he was wearing contacts prior and had this done to help that out. But, it's obvious that this will only help his vision and depth perception. If Tucker has ever had a drop issue in the past, this will help, too.

And, on Saturday against the Minnesota Vikings, it looked very obvious that the change helped, because he had two of the biggest plays, if not the two biggest plays. Tucker looked great , and you hope that his new eyes and new season help him continue to get even better.
