We are a little over two weeks out from the official start of the 2024 NFL season and quarterback Jalen Hurts is more than ready.

On Tuesday, offensive coordinator Kellen Moore praised Hurts for taking full control of the offense in such a short amount of time.

“Jalen has just had an excellent camp,” Moore told reporters on Tuesday. “He’s got great command of this offense, great utilization of tools when he wants to and communication with the offensive line, with the receivers. I just think it’s been an awesome process, excellent.”

And then on Wednesday, Nick Sirianni doubled down on what Moore had to say about Hurts.

"Im really excited about where he is," Sirianni said. "He's just in complete control of the offense at delivering accurate balls, protecting the football. He's had a really, really outstanding camp. Taking what the defense gives them. Whether that's pushing the ball down the field like we saw yesterday with a deep shot to AJ (Brown) or Saquon (Barkley) like he did yesterday. So what an unbelievable camp he's had. I'm really excited for his year."

The Eagles, including, Hurts have a lot to prove in 2023 after dropping a 10-1 start last fall.

Aside from just what his coaches have said, things have been going smoothly for Hurts since he went to 15 straight training camp practices without throwing a single interception. However, he did break that streak on Wednesday when Darius Slay picked him off.

One might say that the vibes are immaculate in Philly right now.

In addition to perfecting the offense and his leadership skills, Hurts has also spent extra time with his teammates and worked on his communication skills both on and off the field.

He and Sirianni appeared to have also worked out their problems that trickled over from last season.
