The Minnesota Vikings felt the need to add depth on the offensive line ahead of their final preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles and they did so by signing an old friend. According to KPRC2's Aaron Wilson , the Vikings have signed center Matt Cindric.

The Vikings had Cindric on the roster after the draft as a part of their undrafted free-agent class. He played his college ball at the University of California where he started in 34 of his 35 career games played with 17 starts each at center and right guard.

The Vikings waived him back in May when they signed Dalton Risner to a contract. As of this writing, we don't know the roster move to bring in Cindric, but he can step right in and play for the Vikings, as he knows the offense from the time he spent with them in training camp.

The Vikings and Eagles are set to kick off on Saturday afternoon at noon.
