The LSU Tigers are going to be a team to watch in the 2024 season. With Brian Kelly's third season, the 13th-ranked Tigers are set to kick off in week one against USC in Los Angeles. Things didn't go perfectly for the Tigers in 2023, but they did have two players go in the top six of the NFL Draft in quarterback Jayden Daniels at 2nd overall and wide receiver Malik Nabers at sixth overall.

They have a chance to match that this season. The Athletic's Dane Brugler released his initial top-50 prospects and the Tigers have three players in the top-20, the only school to have that many.

    • OT Will Campbell: 10th
    • OT Emery Jones Jr.: 13th
    • LB Harold Perkins: 20th

All three are junior prospects and starters for the 2023 squad. Their potential is boundless, especially for the tackles. The offensive tackle class isn't the strongest in 2025 but they are ranked as the top two at the position. In third place right behind them is Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. who sits at 15th.

Perkins is the lone wolf at linebacker mentioned in the top 20, unless you would consider Penn State's Abdul Carter as a linebacker who is second overall. The Nittany Lions are moving him to edge full-time but an NFL team might prefer a Micah Parsons type path for him at the next level.

It is a surprisingly good linebacker class from the onset, as Brugler has five linebackers in his top 50.

    Utah's Lander Barton: 28th
    Oklahoma's Danny Stutsman: 38th
    Georgia's Jalon Walker: 40th
    Clemson's Barrett Carter: 42nd

The Tigers are going to be a team to watch this season from both a college football playoff and an NFL draft perspective.
