The New Orleans Saints got a handful of positive injury updates towards the end of their week. Ahead of their final preseason game, they're getting healthier as they prepare for the Tennessee Titans.

At the forefront, their 2024 first-round pick has been dealing with a back issue since last week. He's making his way back.

Taliese Fuaga returns to team drills in practice

Fuaga is the starter at left tackle. He's been extremely impressive all offseason, catching on quickly in Klint Kubiak's scheme.

Fuaga has received glowing reviews from teammates and coaches. New Orleans needs him to stay healthy. Luckily, his recent back injury was just a minor blip on the radar. It's unknown if he will suit up against the Titans to finish preseason play.

    Dallin Holker avoids serious injury

The rookie tight end got tons of hype early in training camp. He even made some notable plays in the team's first preseason game. Before exhibition game two, Holker sprained his ankle. That forced him to miss the 49ers game, and he's not expected to play against Tennessee.

That being said, the Saints expect him to be ready for the season opener as long as he stays on track from a recovery standpoint.

    Undrafted standouts return from injury

Wideout Mason Tipton was a camp star in July, but he's been sidelined for the preseason. Now, he is seemingly making his way back in order to prove he belongs on the WR depth chart in New Orleans. Coaches have noticed him rather quickly.

As for Payton, he's cemented himself as a player who deserves a roster spot as a depth cornerback. The undrafted defensive back has been one of the most impactful performers of the preseason for New Orleans.

The Saints are getting healthier at the right time as Week 1 of the regular season approaches.
