The preseason games can get to be a little monotonous for the average fan. The superstar players rarely play and the schemes on both sides of the football are very vanilla so they don't show anything to future opponents.

In the first two games, the Vikings had wide receiver Justin Jefferson, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Harrison Smith on with the broadcast team of Paul Allen and Pete Bercich. Jefferson even called J.J. McCarthy throwing his first touchdown .

The Vikings broadcast against the Philadelphia Eagles will include another guest commentator with this one being head coach Kevin O'Connell. He will be with the broadcast crew throughout the entire third quarter.

O'Connell could pass along play-calling duties once again to offensive coordinator Wes Phillips or quarterbacks coach Josh McCown. Having O'Connell on like they have had others in the booth could end up being a really cool asset to fans as they try to learn more about the players.

The game kicks off at noon on Saturday.
