After the final preseason game, it felt like there were still some questions to answer for the Buffalo Bills . Some questions we won't be able to get a feel for until well into the season, but one of the preliminary questions for this roster has to be about health.

Multiple players were said to be "week-to-week," and had their regular season opener status in question. The moves that were, or weren't, made by the Bills at the roster cut deadline , along with a direct answer by GM Brandon Beane, speak volumes about the status as the season draws near.

Players with recent injuries weren't place on Injured Reserve

We know that Matt Milano is out for a while , and as expected, he was placed on Injured Reserve on cut down day with a designation that would make him eligible to return this season.

On that note, Beane was asked directly about Milano's status and his timeline, and he was very direct in saying that there currently isn't a timeline for Milano to return. Right now, Milano is healing from his surgery, and they'll wait to see how he progresses before determining if he'll be able to return this year. The designation does leave that possibility open.

For other players that were recently hurt, like wide receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Curtis Samuel , and the safeties Mike Edwards and Cole Bishop that have been battling injuries for roughly a month, not being placed on injured reserve is a great sign about their availability for Game 1 against the Arizona Cardinals in a week and a half.

Beane was asked if they anticipated putting any other players on injured reserve, to which he directly answered "no."

Players dealing with injuries were spotted at practice today

Very encouragingly, every player on the 53-man roster and the practice squad were present and practiced today, aside from Taron Johnson, who is dealing with a quad injury. That's huge.

With questions about who will line up at safety for the first game, along with the injury questions at the wide receiver position, seeing them out on the field was incredibly encouraging.

With attention turning to the regular season, getting healthy before kickoff is of the highest priority.
