Most people spend Labor Day Weekend enjoying some time off, but Ole Miss' recruiting coaching staff will have a much different experience. This weekend in Oxford will be a massive one as the Rebels look to improve upon their 2025 recruiting class, but the biggest fish set to attend is already committed to an SEC rival.

Five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham is one of many elite high school prospects set to visit Ole Miss over the weekend. Cunningham's recruitment has been far from normal, but he did pledge to the Crimson Tide earlier this summer.

Cunningham plays his high school ball at Choctaw County High School in Ackerman, Mississippi. According to On3's Industry Rankings , Cunningham is the No. 2 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle and the No. 1 player coming out of the Magnolia State.

Ole Miss' brand is as strong as it ever has been and the excitement surrounding the program is palpable. Having Cunningham in the house for the Rebels' season opener against Furman will give him a glimpse at what a game day looks like inside the walls of the football program. He will also get to see how Rebels fans show up in The Grove and inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for what is expected to be a bludgeoning on both sides of the football.

Although Alabama is out in front at the moment, Cunningham is also being pursued by Mississippi State and Auburn along with the Rebels. There is a decent chance that Ole Miss has the most successful season out of Cunningham's primary suitors, which could tip the scales in the Rebels' favor.

Cunningham will be a prospect to keep an eye on as things play out on the field this fall. If Ole Miss is able to steal Cunningham away from Alabama, elite programs across the country will have no choice but to take notice of the recruiting revolution going on in Oxford, Mississippi.
