Former Tennessee Vols cornerback Kamal Hadden didn't make the Kansas City Chiefs' initial 53-man roster despite being selected by KC in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Hadden, who played at Tennessee from 2021 to 2023, was among the Chiefs' final roster cuts last week.

The former Vol, however, wasn't out of a job for long. Hadden was quickly scooped up by the Green Bay Packers this past weekend.

Green Bay signed Hadden to their practice squad.

Hadden still faces an uphill battle to make an impact for the Packers, but considering he's a player that Green Bay liked a lot during the draft process, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get elevated to the 53-man roster at some point in 2024.

Oddly enough, former Vols defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley, who coached at Tennessee from 2019 to 2020, is the Packers' defensive passing game coordinator.

Ansley never coached Hadden at Tennessee, but he was on staff under Jeremy Pruitt when Hadden was initially offered by the Vols in early 2020.
