The Detroit Lions will be hosting their first game at Ford Field since their win over the Bucs in the second round of the playoffs. That was a huge moment for the city of Detroit.

Lions fans got incredibly loud that night and set the Ford Field decibel record with 134.3 . This was a week after they had set a new record against the Rams that beat the previous record set by Lions fans when Ford Field hit 127.5 in Week 2 of last season.

Lions left tackle Taylor Decker has somewhat issued a challenge to Lions fans this week. He thinks the fans can try and beat the world record on Sunday.

That record is currently held by the Kansas City Chiefs and their fans. They set the record in 2016 with a decibel rate of 142.2 in a game against the Patriots. Lions fans have a very real chance to beat that. We'll see if they can get those extra eight decibels to get over the hump and get the record. I'm no sound genius, but I think they can do it.

We'll find out on Sunday. I'm looking forward to my iPhone sending me a health notification telling me that it's too loud where I'm at.
