Cleveland Browns made a big announcement about the future of the stadium for at least the next couple of decades.

Cleveland Browns Stadium will now be called Huntington Bank Field thanks to a 20-year partnership that gives Huntington Bank naming rights to the stadium in which the Browns play for the next couple of decades.

If Cleveland were to move to a domed stadium in Brook Park , it would be known as Huntington Bank Field when it opens. The other option the Browns have following the 2028 season is staying in a renovated stadium where they currently are .

"We are thrilled to reach a long-term partnership agreement with Ohio's own Huntington Bank," said Dee and Jimmy Haslam, Cleveland Browns Managing and Principal Partners. "Huntington Bank has a long-standing reputation of excellence and they continue to grow both regionally and nationally while keeping their roots here in Ohio. Giving back to the community and a focus on education are two of the many attributes that bond our organizations, and we look forward to working with Huntington to make positive impacts in Northeast Ohio and beyond. We're excited to call the home of the Cleveland Browns Huntington Bank Field."

It is said that the partnership between the Browns and Huntington will have to two sides intending to launch new and dynamic ways to strengthen communities and neighborhoods across Northern Ohio.

The Browns will host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 and that will serve as the first official game for Huntington Bank Field. Below, you will see models of what the stadium will look like with added Huntington Bank logos.

After being called just Cleveland Browns Stadium for a couple of seasons after no longer being called First Energy Stadium, the place where the Browns play their games now has a new name.
