Jason Kelce has been listening to one Taylor Swift song repeatedly recently because of his daughter. And he was more than willing to talk about it on the “Pivot Podcast,” when asked if his three daughters have a favorite Swift song.

“So right now, I’ve been listening a lot to ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.’ The new one,” Jason said.

And he can thank his daughter Ellie for that.

However, Swift's song does include a swear word in the chorus. So that inspired a small lyric change from Ellie.

“And Ellie right now, there is a line in that, ‘I’m a real tough kid, I can handle my s—t’ and Ellie is 3 years old so she says, ‘I’m a real tough kid I can handle my stuff!’

“That’s all I hear on a daily basis,” he added. "Because it gets a laugh out of me every time.'

This song is off Swift's most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department .

Travis Kelce provides very critical evaluation of his performance on stage with Taylor Swift at Eras Tour

The Kansas City Chiefs host the Baltimore Ravens for the first game of the 2024 regular season on Thursday night.

So 99% of the focus is on the year ahead and preparing for the game.

But that 1% is reserved for one other topic, especially when it comes to the Chiefs.

    Yes, you guess right.

    It's Taylor Swift.

And of course, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was asked about her during an interview on the Rich Eisen show. Specifically, they went over to very viral moments that has everyone talking.

In June, during Swift's first stint at Wembley Stadium in London, 90,000 fans went crazier than normal when the realized that Kelce joined the singer on stage. He came out alongside Swift's dancers, Jan Ravnik and Kameron Saunder, to help her perform "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

While he spoke about it on his podcast, 'New Heights' over the summer, Kelce provided a more critical evaluation of how he did on Tuesday.

The conversation began when Eisen brought up how his children have started texting him about the tight end a lot more because all the increased attention. And he specifically mentioned his on-stage performance when Kelce was 'dancing' with Swift.

Kelce didn't agree with one word in that description.

"Dancing is a stretch," he explained.

The idea to bring the tight end on stage came together very quickly, so how much prep work did the star couple do?

"I'm not going to lie. It wasn't a lot. It wasn't a lot," Kelce said. "Taylor knew I'm a, when the lights are on, I'm going to have some fun. And she put me in a position to where I didn't have to do much for it to be a success. She put me in a really comfortable part of the show.

"I was just there not to screw anything up. I said it on New Heights, I just didn't want to drop her when I was carrying her on that stage. That would have been the most embarrassing thing I could have ever done. Just getting her to the couch was the hardest part."

So did he have any second thoughts?

"Oh for sure. There was definitely that extra, 'wait are you sure you want to do this?,' he added. "But she was so fun about it. And I'm always down to have some fun on stage with Tay Tay."
