With four days left until the Minnesota Vikings take on the New York Giants on September 8th, injury reports are beginning to come out. Wednesday means the first injury report gets released and it spelled out good news for the Vikings.

Minnesota Vikings have just two injured players

The Vikings listed just two players from the active roster on the injury report.

    • WR Jordan Addison (ankle): Limited
    • WR Jalen Nailor (ankle): Limited

Having them both listed as limited was huge for the Vikings. Head coach Kevin O'Connell is hopeful that Addison will play on Sunday.

"Yeah, he's doing better, and he was limited really on Monday and moved around quite well. He'll do a little more today. And then we'd like to kind of progress him, hopefully to full by the end of the week. I think Jordan's [Addison] in a good spot and I feel pretty good about him making the game."

O'Connell was a little less optimistic on Nailor but was still hopeful.

"Yeah, he's a couple days behind Jordan [Addison], but I think he's progressing really well and hope to give you guys an update on that a little later in the week, but I feel really good about where Jalen [Nailor] at off the training camp he had a lot of work with that first group and being able to be out there with that group would be big for us. "

We will learn more about their injuries over the next two days with the final injury report coming on Friday.
