Where to watch, stream, and listen to the Ole Miss vs. MTSU Week 2 college football game

Ole Miss started off on the right foot as they splattered Furman 76-0 in Week 1. Now it's on to MTSU in Week 2. Ole Miss hasn't played MTSU since 2001, when they destroyed them 45-17. That season the MTSU Blue Raiders were no slouch either as they finish the year Sun Belt Conference co-champions.

This season's matchup shouldn't be overlooked either, despite all of the hype for the Rebels still building. As Lane mentioned this week in his SEC media call, the Ole Miss passing attack looked great in Week 1, but their run game needs to be established in a much bigger way for this matchup . We'll see if Ole Miss can find more balance in the final game before they face off against power conference opponents.

Middle Tennessee is fresh off a 32-25 victory over Tennessee Tech where they struggled to defeat a rather weak FCS opponent, but Ole Miss can't overlook the Blue Raiders. They have one of the best tight ends in the nation in Holden Willis and brought in a pair of strong former power conference wide receiver transfers as well. Their talent runs a lot deeper than many Conference USA teams.

On offense for Ole Miss, expect to see a good mix of running backs yet again, but a healthy dose of Henry Parrish Jr. and Ulysses Bentley IV. Those two seemed to be the two Ole Miss was giving the majority of the early work to as they're still trying to find a replacement for Quinshon Judkins.

On defense, there should be a much higher snap count for some of their new defensive star transfers like Walter Nolen, Princely Umanmielen, and Trey Amos. Suntarine Perkins starred right away in Week 1 with a trio of pass rush pressures and a nice tackle. It looks like he and Umanmielen will both be bringing tons of pressure off the edge this season. If their new faces on defense gel together, Ole Miss may start to show true national championship potential this week.
