Well, that game didn't go as planned for the Michigan Wolverines. They were utterly outclassed and outcoached by Texas, who dismantled the Wolverines' defense and barely had to do much to stop Michigan's offense.

This one was never close, which makes finding the positives a fair challenge. Nevertheless, Michigan has to find a way to rebound from this tough early season loss.

    Stud: K Dominic Zvada

Zvada's two field goals were the only points Michigan had up until a late garbage-time touchdown. He made from 37 and then a nice 52-yard kick that cut the deficit to 24-6.

Zvada's building off of a strong kicking performance last week, where he made three field goals, including a 55-yarder, and all three of his extra points. It's not much to build off of, but he's not missed a kick yet and has proven to be a reliable leg.

    Dud: Michigan's Coaching Staff

This was an embarrassing outing for the Wolverines' coaching staff, no doubt about it. They constantly got circles run around them on both sides of the ball.

The offense looked totally inept and kept trying the same sequencing, proving the definition of insanity. They were poor on first down again and refused to adjust until their final drive of the game.

The defensive game plan was marginally better, but their lack of depth got exposed hard. There were too many busts and a general lack of detail that Texas ruthlessly exploited.

    Dud: Skill Position Talents

The Wolverines didn't put their best schematic efforts out there, but the offensive playmakers routinely made critical mistakes even when the ball came their way.

Colston Loveland's fumble all but sealed the game for the Wolverines. Semaj Morgan dropped a third-down pass that would have at least started some momentum in the second half. There were other mental mistakes, such as indecisive runs and poor decisions with the football. Michigan needed to lean on its skill position talent to make up for their quarterback play and this group flunked in a big way.

    Stud: Michigan's Uniforms

Michigan broke out the all-blue uniforms for this one. At least they looked good getting taken to the woodshed.
