Donna Kelce pays tribute to Taylor Swift by taking part in very special competition at World's Largest Tailgate

The Kansas City Chiefs decided to add a little something extra into the "World's Largest Tailgate: The Tailgate Games," to pay tribute to their biggest fan.

Ever since her romance with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce began, Taylor Swift has been a consistent presence at games. So the Chiefs decided to pay homage to the singer by incorporating a Friendship Bracelet Challenge during the tailgate.

And one very special individual took part in the challenge on Thursday.

Donna Kelce was pictured making some friendship bracelets prior to the game.

Why Friendship Bracelets?

The friendship bracelet phenomenon began at the start of Swift's Era's Tour.

In her song, 'You’re on Your Own, Kid,' Swift sings, "So, make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it."

Because of that line, fans across the world starting making tons of friendship bracelets to trade with one another at games. Some fans even started to give some bracelets to Travis Kelce during the game

So now, this has become the universal symbol for Swifties everywhere.

Anytime Kelce goes anywhere now, he is handed bracelets from tons of Swifties, having gained a lot of new Chiefs fans simply due to his relationship with the singer.

It didn't take long before the Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce connection was on full display.

Mahomes managed to escape pressure from the Baltimore Ravens defensive line, and move over to the side, giving him enough time to find Kelce open down the field.

He sent the ball and his favorite target brought it down for 23-yards and the first down.

Of course, the cameras cut to Taylor Swift, who celebrated the impressive play by hugging Donna Kelce.

And what made this moment even better is this play allowed Mahomes to pass Pro Football Hall of Fame QB Len Dawson for the most passing yards in Chiefs franchise history.

There will be a lot more Taylor Swift celebrations to talk about this season, but anything that involves Mama Kelce makes it so much better.

Standing next to Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. and his fiancee Chariah Gordon, the tight end posed with Swift.

He leaned down as the singer affectionately kissed the tight end's cheek.

It was almost identical to the year before. But this time, instead of her hand on his chest, Swift opted to put it right on his cheek.

They are so in love and are always up to have some fun.
