3 stock up and 3 stock down for the Lions after their hard win over the Rams

That was not the prettiest win for the Detroit Lions, but it was a win for sure and you can't take that away from them. After one game is in the books, here's who's stock is up and who's stock is down for the Lions.

    Stock up

    Marcus Davenport

This was a solid outing for Davenport. He put pressure on Matthew Stafford on multiple occasions and got home once. If he can stay healthy, there's no limit to how much he can help this team. Before the season started we had a bold and spicy prediction that said Davenport could have double digit sacks and make the Pro Bowl. If he continues to play like he did Sunday and get better from there, it's happening.

    Jameson Williams

We've all been waiting for that breakout game for Williams and it happened big time on Sunday night. five catches for 121 yards and a touchdown. The interesting thing is that after the game Dan Campbell commended Williams, but also said he didn't even play his best ball. If this is what a bad game looks like, the league may be in trouble when we see what a good game looks like.

    Brian Branch

Some Lions fans are going to tell me I'm wrong here, but I thought Branch had a pretty good game. There was a missed tackle or two, but he also had five tackles, three pass breakups and a tackle for loss. Similar to Jamo, if that's a bad game, then a good game is going to be crazy.

    Stock down

    Amon-Ra St. Brown

The stock is barely down, but we have to talk about it. This was a bad game from St. Brown. The Rams completely locked him up all night and there was nothing he could do about it. He was targeted six times, but was only able to get three catches for 13 yards. Probably the worst game of his career. Look for a bounce back in Week 2.

    Terrion Arnold

It wasn't even that bad of a game for Arnold, but I have to knock him for two pass interference calls in the end zone. Both of those set up scores for the Rams. It was his first game in the NFL so we won't knock him too hard, but that needs to go away right away.

    James Houston

Going from being a guy fighting for a starting spot at the beginning of camp to a guy that's a healthy scratch in Week 1 is the definition of stock down.

Well if you say St. Brown stock is down then think again ! First he was doubled team some and that was okThen Arnold , his first NFL GAME EVER AND WAS GOING ONE ON ONE WITH KUPP A PRO BOWL RECEIVER !But he got a 54-57 grade for the game which isn’t the best but his competition was very good ! So to say his stock dropped is just like saying the Lions should trade Williams which was all over the net for the last 3-4 months ! Ignorant people only judging by the stat sheet
