Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel told reporters on Monday that he hasn't seen the clip of his viral celebration after tight end Miles Kitselman's touchdown in the third quarter of UT's 51-10 win against NC State.

Heupel, however, explained his reason for showing so much joy during big moments in games while discussing the celebration.

"I’m still a kid at heart," said Heupel. "You got to enjoy it. This game's hard. They got good coaches, they got scholarships, too. Every Saturday you look at scores across America. Every Saturday, it unfolds differently. So that’s why you got to prepare and practice the same way. Be consistent in that. Be an elite competitor every day , not just on game day. We talked about that inside of our team room today.

"But man, if you’re not going to enjoy the opportunities that you get, and if you are successful, we think you’re missing the boat. And so we try to have fun inside of our building that’s after a game in the locker room, but it’s also every day we should enjoy what we’re doing and who we’re doing it with. And we do inside of this building.”

I don't think there's any better advice you can give an athlete. Be an elite competitor every day. Be passionate about competing and find joy in it, and success will likely follow. And that's what the Volunteers are doing under Heupel.

A team is representation of its head coach. That's certainly true for Tennessee these days.
