247Sports ranked the top 20 quarterbacks in college football (Power-4 only) on Wednesday with the first two weeks of the season now behind us.

Unsurprisingly, Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers comes in at No. 1 in their rankings just in front of Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward.

Tennessee Vols quarterback Nico Iamaleava comes in at No. 12 in their rankings.

From 247Sports : Iamaleava has so much talent and ability but threw two picks in a win against NC State. He has to get better reading the middle of the field and using his legs more when necessary. Iamaleava finished 16-for-23 for 211 yards and two scores and added eight carries for 65 yards and one score against an N.C. State defense that provided little resistance.

I'm sure there are plenty of Tennessee fans who would like to see Iamaleava ranked higher, but this is probably fair considering he has just three career starts under his belt.

If Iamaleava can lead the Vols to a road win against Oklahoma in a couple of weeks, he'll likely rocket up this list.

And as far as Iamaleava's interceptions against NC State, one was a pass that he admitted after the game he forced. The other interception happened when Iamaleava's arm was hit just as he was delivering the pass. It happens.

Iamaleava will start his fourth career game for the Vols against Kent State on Saturday night in Knoxville.
