The New York Giants were a train wreck on offense in Week 1. In Week 2, there is now a possibility that they could be without their most talented offensive playmaker against the Washington Commanders.

Rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers was limited at practice on Thursday with a knee injury, according to Adam Schefter.

Of course, limited participation is better than no participation. That being said, popping up on the report mid-week is always a scary sign for any player.

According to Pat Leonard, Nabers was not himself in the locker room after practice today. Now, we may know the reason behind that thought.

Nabers was clearly a bit frustrated after the team's Week 1 lackluster offensive showing, led by quarterback Daniel Jones.

That being said, his honesty in the postgame should be appreciated by fans. It is clear that the young wideout wants to produce and help the team win football games.

In the Giants' season opening loss, Nabers caught five passes for 66 yards.

Keep an eye on Nabers' practice status on Friday. That declaration will give a better projection for his availability on Sunday for New York. The rookie WR will have to be designated as questionable, doubtful, or available after Friday’s practice.
