    Tennessee Vols player goes viral for uncanny resemblance to iconic movie character

    Tennessee Vols backup quarterback Gaston Moore went semi-viral this week thanks to his strong resemblance to "Shooter McGavin" from the 1996 comedy Happy Gilmore .

    I mean, the resemblance is almost uncanny.

    The resemblance is so strong that Moore could play the son of McGavin in the Happy Gilmore sequel ( which just started production ) if he was asked, though I'm not sure how good the Hilton Head native's acting chops are.

    For now, though, Moore is the No. 2 quarterback in Josh Heupel's offense. And he'll be in uniform on Saturday night in Knoxville when Tennessee hosts Kent State in a "tune-up game" before a huge showdown in Norman with the Oklahoma Sooners.
