Country music star Morgan Wallen has a chance do the Tennessee Vols a huge favor

Country music singer Morgan Wallen is one of the most famous people on the planet. And he happens to be a Tennessee Vols fan who will be performing two concerts at Neyland Stadium this weekend.

Wallen, who is from East Tennessee, will play a concert on Friday night at Neyland Stadium and also on Sunday night.

And the mega-Vols fan will have an opportunity to do Tennessee athletics a huge favor.

Wallen is known for his "walk-out" at the start of his concerts where he is shown heading to the stage with a celeb that has a notable connection to the city where the concert is being held.

This weekend in Knoxville, Wallen would be doing the Vols a big favor by bringing out some folks with connections to Tennessee (since these walk out videos often go viral on social media).

Tennessee's football team will be in Norman on Friday night for the Vols' game against Oklahoma on Saturday. So on Friday night, Wallen could invite Tennessee baseball coach Tony Vitello and Vols basketball coach Rick Barnes to walk out with him. Or maybe he could bring out Vols basketball star Zakai Zeigler (Dolly Parton would also be a fun option to join the walk out).

On Sunday night, when Tennessee's football team is back in town is when Wallen can really create a viral moment.

I mean, it's gotta be Josh Heupel, quarterback Nico Iamaleava, and a couple of other players -- perhaps running back Dylan Sampson or wide receiver Bru McCoy -- that walk out with Wallen.

Can you imagine how hype the crowd would get if Tennessee beats Oklahoma on Saturday and then Heupel, Iamaleava, and a couple of players walk out with Wallen in front of a sold out Neyland Stadium?

That shot would definitely go in the highlight package at the end of the season.

This weekend is a perfect chance for Wallen's Vols fandom to pay off for Tennessee athletics. Hopefully for the Vols it's not a wasted opportunity.

Sunday night he should run through a small version of the “T” with Coach Heupel and others.
