It took a week for him to settle in, but Marvin Harrison Jr. showed the NFL world what he could do on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.

Harrison scored two touchdowns and racked up 130 receiving yards on four catches to help the Arizona Cardinals blow out the Rams. A week after Harrison had just one catch for four yards, he went off and made it look effortless in the process.

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day was asked about that performance on Tuesday. He sounded a lot like a guy who was not surprised, just like most of Buckeye Nation.

“Marvin Harrison is a wonderful player, he is going to have a great career in the NFL. So, after a week or if it was two weeks or three weeks, you know Marv is going to be a great player in the NFL,” Day said. “He’s just such a pro, he’s going to translate very well in that league.”

Harrison was taken with the No. 4 overall pick in the most recent draft. The former Ohio State standout did not get much run in the preseason, so these early weeks are the first times that the majority of folks have seen him in a Cardinals uniform.

Harrison caught a 60-yard pass from Kyler Murray early in Sunday’s game to give him a highlight reel-worthy player and it looked easy. He was able to get open without much issue against the Rams.

“He’s a great route runner, so he’s going to have these types of days. We’re proud of what he’s doing.”

Harrison will next be in action against the Detroit Lions at home on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 4:25 p.m.

Lets hear from all the people who trashed not only Marvs skills, but his character after week 1. We might have to turn over some rocks, so they can crawl out from them.
