Alabama HC Kalen DeBoer says the Crimson Tide's offense isn't close to being full throttle yet

In football, you want to start hitting your stride into late November and into December both collegiately and professionally.

Oftentimes, it isn't that easy however, with injuries, personnel changes and oppinets throwing a wrench in things.

And while Alabama's offense has shown signs of promise, the consistency is missing.

That will need to change if they want to beat the Georgia Bulldogs , with HC Kalen DeBoer noting how far the offense has come, but how far it still has to go:

Alabama’s full offense still under wraps

I think that's a that's a really tricky question, said Alabama HC Kalen DeBoer when asked about the evolution of the offense. “Because I think more about what direction our offense continues to evolve, you know, our understanding, our personnel, and you be have an idea through spring ball and fall camp where still things are, but when you get into a game, that really, you know, grow and evolve with with your offense, and think that that's probably the biggest thing. You know, there's going to be a lot of our offense that we never install this year, just because of the players that we have.

A smart coach and coordinator doesn’t force their system on their players. Instead they adapt to their surroundings, building upon the strengths of the team while mutating the weaknesses.

I’m sure DeBoer would love to have the trio of WRs in Alabama that he did last year at Washington, throwing the ball all over the place. But instead he’s working with what he has, and what he has is more than enough, especially in the Ryan Williams department.

DeBoer didn’t get the job in Alabama by accident. He knows his way around an offense and more importantly, around his personnel.

So how that adapts and evolves between the opener, to the Georgia game, to the end of the season will be paramount.
