The Las Vegas Raiders made a switch to Aidan O'Connell at the end of their game vs. the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday, when they were down big, they were looking for a spark. That's not abnormal. Not to mention, the game was certainly out of reach. But, because the Raiders had a QB battle this offseason, there were some questions asked.

One of the questions asked after the loss was if Antonio Pierce was making a QB switch, or if it was your normal, put the backup in, type of thing.

"I think the game was out of hand and, you know, got two quarterbacks at the battle, let the other guy go in there and see what he can do for a little bit," Pierce said after the game in response to the QB question.

So, naturally, you would think that means that no matter what, it wasn't a QB switch happening, Minshew is the guy, it was just the backup playing in garbage time. Right? Well, wrong.

In Pierce's day after press conference, he confused everyone even more with the QB controversy.

"I think we got to get with the players and just evaluate everything from yesterday first," Pierce said, hinting that the team would look at both options again.

So, this has confused everyone. But, Monday night, an NFL insider revealed what the team's plans are for Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Raiders are going to be sticking with Gardner Minshew for the time being.

So, the Browns will get Minshew, despite Aidan O'Connell, when coming in, having a great performance. But, I have said this already: I do not think the Raiders have a QB issue at this time. The biggest issue is how bad the offense is as a whole and how bad the scheme is. Then, the offensive line is beat up and just bad right now, too.

But, nonetheless, the Browns will get Minshew.
