Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown takes a stance that every receiver in the NFL will agree with after big hit on Sunday

On Sunday the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles had quite a defensive battle. There weren't a lot of points going on the board and it was good game, but one bad thing did happen in this game that has players talking.

Eagles receiver Devonta Smith took a really bad hit that resulted in him suffering a concussion. It was bad hit that was totally unnecessary considering the situation he was in.

He's heading backwards and the play is dead at this point. He's got two guys tackling him and then one comes out of nowhere and launches into Smith's head. It's just wrong. It's the kind of hitting that needs to go away.

The officials need to take some blame here too. This play should have been blown dead way before the hit. They essentially were leaving this defenseless receiver hanging out to dry.

Detroit Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown talked with his brother, Saints receiver Equanimeous St. Brown, on the St. Brown Bros podcast on Wednesday and had a lot to say about the situation and most receivers will probably be siding with him on this. Equanimeous does decide to defend his teammate in the situation, and he asked Amon-Ra what he would do if Aidan Hutchinson had done that.
